Grade 80-55-06 is an iron with nodular graphite in a matrix of ferrite. It also contains small amounts of pearlite. This grade has great machinability as well as good surface finishes. 80-55-06 shows high impact strengths, fatigue properties, and electrical conductivity. Grade 80-55-06 responds well to both induction and flame heat treating.
